2024 IOPS/OECD/CONSAR International Conference on Private Pensions

The 2024 International Conference on Private Pensions was organised jointly by the OECD, the International Organisation of Pension Supervisors (IOPS) and the National Commission of the Retirement Savings System (CONSAR) of Mexico. It gathered high-level officials from regulatory and supervisory authorities, leading experts from pension fund industry and research institutes from both OECD and IOPS Member jurisdictions as well as from Mexico and the Latin American region. Representatives from international organisations also took part in the IOPS/OECD/CONSAR International Conference. Discussions focused on:

  • Pension reform in Mexico, trends in the labour market and new social security policies

  • Trends in the labour market, pension coverage and new social security policies in the Latin America

  • Digitalization and inclusion in pension systems 

  • Disclosure of ESG factors in the investment of pension funds

  • Implementation of ESG factors in the investment management of pension funds in Latin America 

This event was held back-to-back with the IOPS Committee Meetings on 13 February 2024.
