International Seminar on Pension Fund Investment Perspectives

 

The International Seminar on Pension Fund Investment Perspectives was held on 18-19 May 2006 in Santiago, Chile.  This seminar was jointly organised by the International Federation of Pension Fund Administrators (FIAP); the Association of Pension Fund Administrators of Chile; the Faculty of Economy and Administration of the Catholic University of Chile and the Latin-American Federation of Insurance Enterprises (FIDES).

The purpose of the seminar was to analyse investment policies and strategies during the accumulation and retirement stages in obligatory individually funded and savings schemes. It also intended to bring together representatives of the pension fund and insurance industries of different countries, investment managers, authorities of the sector and representatives of mutual funds and international agencies.
