Broadcasting of a special BBC World Debate recorded live in Accra on the occasion of the Third High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness(2-4 September 2008). Produced in association with the BBC World Service Trust in close cooperation with OECD-DAC, the programme features a high-level panel: OECD Secretary General Angel Gurría, World Bank Managing Director Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Ghanaian Minister of State Anthony Akoto-Osei, Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Oh Joon, CEO of CIVICUS Kumi Naidoo and Director General for Development of the EC Stefano Manservisi. Zeinab Badawi brilliantly leads the panel in addressing the themes of trade, investment and aid effectiveness in Africa under the title Investing in Africa: What Works?
