OECD to release Economic Outlook Tuesday 25 November 2008

21/11/2008 - OECD’s Economic Outlook containing analysis and projections for all OECD countries and other major world economies will be published at 11.00 a.m. Paris time (10.00 GMT) on Tuesday 25 November 2008.

Klaus Schmidt-Hebbel, OECD’s Chief Economist, will present the Economic Outlook at a news conference at 11.00 a.m.  (in English with French interpretation) at OECD headquarters, 2 rue André Pascal, Paris 75016. Please call +33 1 45 24 97 00 to register. The news conference will also be broadcast live on OECD's website. The Outlook will be available in English, French and German on the OECD's password-protected website for journalists from 11.00 a.m. Paris time for immediate release.

Separate news briefings with OECD economists will be held via videoconference the same day for journalists based in Berlin and Tokyo according to the following timetable:

Journalists requesting an electronic version in advance of the release time are asked to please respect the embargo.

Printed copies of the Economic Outlook can be mailed to journalists, on request, on the day of publication.
